​Attobus Ltd has been formed by Ed West, John Evans (the original founders of Microbus Ltd) and Chris Harrison (Director of Mobile Data). Microbus had been supplying specialist PC technology to worldwide users for nearly 30 years and for the last 14 years has been considered the pre-eminent supplier of vehicle-based PC technology.

​Attobus offers full service and support to the Microbus range of products as well as selling new units and continues to develop mobile products to complement and enhance their product offering in the future.

Over 10,000 Microbus vehicle-based PCs are in daily use within all three emergency services globally, and with an additional several thousand units in UK black cab taxis, national bus fleets and specialist vehicle fleets.
High reliability and minimal whole-life costs are vital to the service and quality achieved by the emergency services and public transport markets. The quality and high functionality of our products is based on our long established supply of embedded PC technology to sectors requiring high reliability such as military, telecoms, medical and process control markets.

Attobus products are built and tested to the highest standards. Attobus only uses PC boards that are designed and supported in-house. All our computer products are independently tested and certified to meet the European legal requirement of ‘e mark’, the UN’s ‘E mark’ and the UK Police Information Technology Organisation’s AES5 Specification 10, Class 1 certification. Full support is provided by our technical support team located at our headquarters in Buckinghamshire, UK.
